Our inspiration: building futures with faith
Light The Way Childcare Learning Center was inspired by Brother Barth and Diana Barth's vision to create a nurturing environment in Broaddus. Their goal was to provide a place where children could learn the basics and grow in their faith. This foundational inspiration continues to drive our passion for making a positive impact on every child's life today.
What makes us unique: a loving community for all
As the only childcare center in Broaddus, we proudly serve families from surrounding towns like Lufkin, Jasper, Zavalla, San Augustine, Etoile, Huntington, and Pineland. We pride ourselves on creating a loving and caring environment, always striving to be a helpful resource for parents in need. Our unique blend of community focus and heartfelt support sets us apart.

Ms. Kylie R. – infant care specialist
Ms. Kylie R. brings immense love and care to our purple room, where she lovingly nurtures our youngest learners. Her gentle approach ensures our babies receive the best possible start in a warm and secure environment.
Kayden M. – toddler care expert
Kayden M. has a special way with our toddlers, bringing energy and enthusiasm to their daily activities. She creates a vibrant space where our little ones can explore, learn, and grow with confidence.
Mrs. Elizabeth O.– our kitchen's culinary artist
Mrs. Elizabeth is the wonderful person behind the delicious and nutritious meals served in our center. She ensures every child receives wholesome food to fuel their day of learning and play.
Ms. Destiny W. – 2-3 year old room & afterschool program
Ms. Destiny W. skillfully guides our 2-3 year olds, fostering their development through playful learning. She also extends her care to our afterschool and summer programs, providing consistent support for older children.
